About Us

Real Life’s Sunday gatherings are for everyone. At 10:19am, we meet at 2603 Osborne Rd (next to Pietro’s Italian Restaurant). Most people like to park in front of the restaurant and walk down the short sidewalk toward the entrance to the building.

serviceWhen you come in, you will see smiling faces, donuts and coffee, and a unique modern set-up. You won’t see suits and ties. Most of the people who make up Real Life are more comfortable in jeans.

As you settle in, you can expect modern and creative music that is meant to help the congregation engage in worship.  The music and the message will be grounded in the Bible and will be applicable to your life. And while you are connecting to God through the service, your children can learn and grow in REALKids.

Real Life is a church that loves God and loves people. We launched in 2009 on Easter with the goal of making Jesus more famous in the Richmond area. And that is what we are still striving to do to this day. We are demonstrating and teaching the Gospel in every way that we can so that lives can be changed and remade through the power of God.

Our vision is found in our process: connect people to God, others, ministry, and the world.

Our weekend worship services are designed to connect you to God on an intimate level. We place a high priority on biblical teaching, engaging worship, and a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

We also believe that people need to be connected with others, that no one should stand alone because we are convinced that real life transformation happens best in the context of community – people doing life together. We offer a midweek group designed to foster friendships with other people in a safe and caring environment.

Connecting to ministry is vital for your spiritual health and growth, We seek to help people find a meaningful place where they can experience a sense of fulfillment by giving back in service to God and others.

Finally, we believe that God commands believers to connect to the world. Matthew 28:18-20 instructs us, as believers, to reach out with the good news of the gospel to people in our neighborhoods, towns, cities, and all across the world. We encourage people to reach out to others by investing in their lives and inviting them to experience real life in Christ.
